Guston was a Canadian/ American heavy weight artist. He was part of the New York school which included other artists like Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning. He’s an older man in this video.
In this video, we can watch him in his enormous, ex-warehouse studio space working on some large-scale works.
Meese has a crazy, intense energy. He’s holding a tube of paint which he uses to paint directly onto the surfaces around the studio.
